Automotive Field Technician
(m/f)
About Stratio
Stratio keeps public transport running. We monitor fleet health in real time and tell the world's largest operators exactly what's going to fail before it does.
We're a small, technical team of about 50 people, growing our Service organization to keep pace with new installations and client rollouts across Europe.
The role
You'll be responsible for the field work behind the installation, uninstallation, and reinstallation of the Stratio Databox, our in-vehicle data collection unit, following our defined technical processes.
In this role, you'll work directly on client vehicles, at client sites, representing Stratio professionally and making sure every installation meets our technical and quality standards.
What your weeks look like
Installation & field work
You perform field work to install, uninstall, and reinstall the Stratio Databox and connected hardware, following our internal procedures.
Remote support & troubleshooting
You provide field or remote support to diagnose and fix issues affecting the Stratio Hardware Solution, reporting problems together with the proposed solution.
Customer & partner training
You train customers and partners on working with Stratio Hardware solutions, representing Stratio professionally during every visit.
Documentation
You create installation manuals and harnesses according to internal procedures.
Reporting
You report on work progress to your supervisor and project lead.
What we're looking for
Must have:
Technical degree or professional experience in the electrical or mechanical field
Driver's license (category B)
Full availability and flexibility to travel abroad (expect an average of 2 weeks per month traveling)
Availability to work weekends/night hours
Great level of autonomy and ability to work under pressure
Independent user of English
Strong plus:
Knowledge working with diagnostic equipment
Understanding of in-vehicle communication networks

What this is not
This is not a desk job or a remote-first delivery role.
You'll spend a significant part of your time traveling and working directly on vehicles at client sites, often on tight timelines and changing conditions.
Why this is interesting
You'd be the hands making Stratio's technology work in the real world, installing the hardware that keeps some of the world's largest fleets running.
You'd have the autonomy to represent Stratio directly in front of customers, and travel across different countries as you do it.
