We’re looking for a Sales Account Executive who can create enterprise revenue from scratch by navigating resistance and earning trust. This is a true hunting role, focused on winning large, strategic deals and turning complex organizations into long-term partners.
You will operate at executive level inside large companies, navigating uncertainty, managing multiple stakeholders, and long decision cycles.
Success in this role comes from credibility, judgment, persistence and the ability to demonstrate meaningful value of Stratio to senior leaders.
You will
Create enterprise opportunities through account-driven prospecting.
Own each account end to end: opportunity creation, discovery, deal strategy,proposal and negotiation, and close.
Build trusted relationships with C-level and senior executives.
Lead long, multi-threaded sales cycles with clear ownership and momentum.
Convert skepticism into conviction by reframing priorities and challenging the status quo.
Act as a long-term partner to customers.
Work closely with founders, marketing, product and finance aligning customers and company interests.
Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting.
What we’re looking for
A proven hunter with a track record of creating new business opportunities, driving and winning net-new enterprise accounts.
Strong sense of ownership (founder mindset): outcomes are yours to drive.
Experience navigating large organizations and complex decision processes.
Executive presence and comfort influencing senior stakeholders.
Account-focused mindset, able to succeed across industries and markets.
Quick to understand a strong product and position it as a strategic advantage.
Availability to travel internationally, to meet our customers and partners, on a very frequent basis.
Highly driven, resilient, and motivated by winning meaningful, visible deals.
Energized by a fast-paced startup environment and driven to win, while remaining collaborative and results-focused.
English fluency.
Bonus point: Portuguese fluency, French fluency

Location
This role can be performed remotely, onsite, or on a hybrid setup in Coimbra, Portugal.
Regardless of the arrangement, availability to attend in-person meetings at our Coimbra office is expected when required. Expect an average of once a week.
However, during onboarding expect to work on-site an average of twice a week to meet in person with the team and ramp up quickly into our operations. This regularity is an average and should be adjusted to your and company needs.
